Local Attractions
Nearby are the market towns of Newcastle Emlyn and well known Cardigan, situated at the mouth of the River Teifi. Driving a little further brings attractions from all over the West Wales within reach - St. David's Cathedral, the marinas at Pembroke and Milford Haven.
Ideal bathing beaches can be found up and down the local coastline. The nearest is at Cardigan, but the pretty picture postcard beaches and bays of Llangranog, Mwnt and New Quay are all within easy reach. Traveling south will lead you to many of Pembrokeshire's famous beaches and walks - the Pembrokeshire Coast Path starts its long trek at Cardigan and leads right round the county to Amroth.
For those with an interest in history the area abounds with Castles and historic monuments. The ruined castle at Newcastle Emlyn, dating back to 1215, stands guard over the town and River Teifi, and is a natural setting to watch the many birds found in this area of West Wales.
